Go to the “By owner” area and click on the picture you want to get rid of. In the top right area, there should be a trash can “delete” icon that you can click on to get rid of it from your profile.

Follow these steps to stop Google Ads from automatically adding photos to your local ads:

  • Click “Ads and Assets” on the left side of Google Ads.
  • Then, click “Assets.”
  • Under “Associations view,” click the “More” icon with three dots.
  • Now, click “Account-level automated assets.”
  • From this view, click the “More” icon with three dots again.
  • Then, click the “Advanced settings” button.
  • Under “Automatic locations,” find the checkbox that says “Grant Google Ads license to use merchant photos and other rich media from the linked Google Business Profiles in advertising campaigns from this account.”
  • Uncheck this choice.
  • Finally, click Save.
